Winning battles gives you the chance to choose from different character skins and extra colors. The better grade you receive from the battle, the better the rewards are. This action is important to how the characters fight in-game. A third attack style is a Dual Heat Attack, which is a team combo that can only be used when the Dual Heat Gauge is full.
Some characters can even perform a Special Dual Heat Attack, which creates unique animations, some recreating manga scenes. Though this created unbalanced characters, with some fighters being way stronger than others.
Nonetheless, the game provides a plethora of content through its big roster. The game includes a lengthy story mode that will leave players addicted. However, this mode was not as in-depth and complex as expected to be, especially when compared to the previous installment of the game series. Another issue with the game is the multiplayer gameplay.
