We constantly miss listening to our morning news and weather. It was cute at first but now it totally annoying to the point where we just want to get rid of Alexa and the 4 units we bought. I like being able not to have to talk to Alexa and being able to type commands or to switch buttons. This is bad having Alexa listen to your 3 year old crank up the volume. A lot would have to change for me to ever give it 5 stars.
There are some nice features but are outweighed by the bad. Alexa needs more and better Setting Controls and a way to ignore small children who like to change music every 5 seconds. I want to turn on my garage lights first and after I scrolled through every other light in the house I finally arrive to where I can turn the switch on; you should be able to arrange the switches the way you want. Hard to have other main adult family members use the app too; only one master.

Prioritize the download From the Home Screen, touch and hold the app. Restart your device Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Here is how you can fix that. It is very common for customers to use different accounts for their Echo Show. Just switch to the same account on Echo Show and it will most probably fix the issue for you.
A quick fix for Echo Show not popping up on the Alexa app is to connect it to just log out of Alexa app on your phone and log back in after a few seconds.
This fix worked for most people and they were able to add Echo Show onto their Alexa app. You can also discover devices on the Alexa app by clicking the discover device button or asking Alexa to discover devices. This will refresh the nearby devices list which can be added to Alexa through the mobile app.
Even after re-logging into your account the Echo Show is still not showing as a usable device then it is highly likely that your app is bugged.
Just go to the phone settings and uninstall the Alexa app. After that install it back and log into your account. The Echo show will start showing up in the list of discovered devices from where you can add it to your app and start configuring it to however you like it.
